Adam and Alesha announced their engagement on February 3rd, 2015 were married for two years. The name of their son was Mason.

However, the couple soon divorced and reconciled again in March 2017. After Adam discovered Alesa's cheating, the couple divorced once more in June 2017.

Alesa is a metalmark butterfly genus found in northern South America in the New World. This genus is distinguished by a large sexual dimorphism that recedes only slightly in one species.

The main reason behind his breakdown as he was not sure if he would get custody of his son after he was splitter with his wife.

He stated that his life prior to starting YouTube was depressing. Apart from their weight (which was around 304 pounds), little is known about this depressive period.

Adam suggested on Twitter that he and Alesa had broken up, and later confirmed it on Twitter. It was the year 2017 when the couple got separated from each other.

On June 30, 2017, Adam announced on Twitter that they would be deleting their YouTube channel, which had amassed over 12 million subscribers during the ensuing controversy.

Currently, Adam has returned to creating content on their original SkyDoesMinecraft channel, though it is now more branched out and independent as SkyDoesEverything.

Their reasoning for this decision can be found in the vlog they created on the subject. With over 11.5 million subscribers as of May 2019, their channel is the 299th most subscribed channel on YouTube.
